Lionel Messi’s Poor Dive on Carvalho’s Elbow

It wasn’t the best performance from the striker Lionel Messi, as he barely showed a contribution in El Clasico match yesterday night. Even though Real Madrid players got crushed by the host, they still did their job pretty well in guarding the Argentinian for not able to make any move.
Not able to fill his score list, Messi tried to save his face by pulling out a poorly dive on Ricardo Carvalho.
It was when Messi got fall after a challenge from Carvalho. The ref didn’t call it as a foul, so Messi got pretty upset. Carvalho was walking away from him and tell him to stand up quickly, when Messi approached Carvalho from behind. Carvalho then swing his hand in order to try to ignore Messi’s protest, slightly…repeated….slightly. Then Messi’s face touched Carvalho’s elbow, and Messi saw this as an opportunity to gain advantage, and after a second, he fall.

Luckily, the ref was clever enough to see that Messi wasn’t going anywhere with the act, and instead of giving a yellow on Carvalho, he booked Messi for provoking. Too bad the video of the incident has been removed by the user, so we can’t show it here.
